The student residence called 'De Klok' was built in 2011 by Leiden University in cooperation with Vestia Vastgoed and Dura Vermeer and is now owned by housing organisation DUWO The Hague. The building consist of 180 units, two elevators, laundry facilities and an indoor bicycle storage. There are several types of rooms and apartments which are listed below.
Leiden University has developed this custom-made building with DUWO and it was finished in August 2010. The building consists of 122 units, a common room, elevator and laundry facilities. Outside there are bicycle stands and a shared garden.
